Clayton County Fire & Emergency Services Headquarters Staff are happy to fulfill all lawful and proper requests for reports in a timely manner as prescribed by Law. There is a cost associated with the release of some reports, set forth by State Law and County Ordinance.
Reports are not available at your local fire station. All fire incident/investigation report requests from the general public must be made in person at Fire Headquarters located at:

INSURANCE COMPANIES requesting a Fire Investigation or Fire Incident report you may call CCFES Headquarters at 770-473-7833.
Request for reports must be made in person. Please use the link below to review the Records Release Policy. Any form of written correspondence (letter, subpoena, e-mail, etc.) is not sufficient. We will be able to advise if the report that was requested exists, if it is available, whether it can be released or not, and any fees (where applicable) that may be assessed. The cost associated with your request and reports will be released only upon receipt of payment. Only checks made payable to Clayton County Fire & Emergency Services will be accepted. However, checks and cash are accepted in person at the above CCFES Headquarters address. We are not set up for billing, nor do we accept credit or debit cards at this time.
